Softex TheftGuard Mobile Edition (ME) adds security to your PDA or cell phone using a unique, patent pending software solution. When your PDA or cell phone is lost or stolen, TheftGuard ME can be used to remotely disable the device so that it can no longer be used. TheftGuard ME can also remotely recover and destroy the data on the stolen mobile device, such as the address book, calendar, picture files, etc. Recovered files can be automatically restored onto a replacement device if the original device is not recovered.

TheftGuard ME is based on mobile messaging technologies, such as SMS, which are used to immediately inform the lost or stolen device to disable itself and recover and destroy the data onboard.
