BIOS Independent Power Management for
Windows NT 4.0

Softex Power Management Controller is a BIOS independent power management application for laptop computers running Windows NT 4.0. Softex Power Management Controller features an operating system like user interface, support for suspend and standby modes, CPU idling for power savings, and updating the system time on a resume from suspend. Softex Power Management Controller works with the computers that are compatible with any version of the Advanced Power Management (APM) standard.
